Jilly’s ‘Mother & Child Revisited MMX1V’ sculpture was featured in Cambridge News on 22 January 2016. The sculpture’s commentary on the digital age depicts a glistening book (mother) attached by a cord to an e-reader (child).
Made from over 2,000 iridescent, hand cut, Murano Italian glass mosaics tesserae, the 111 x 53 x 9cm sculpture is shortly due to leave the Cambridge International Airport and is looking for a suitable exhibition space or a purchaser.
